Fish with Friends!

We’re fishing! And crabbing!

You will need to get your shellfish and angling license from Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. Make an account, do all the things, you’ll figure it out, you’re smart. Keep in mind an ANNUAL shellfish license is cheaper so you may as well get that.

Also please go fill out this waiver for Garibaldi Charters. Do it online now or get there earlier than 6:30 to go do it in the office, your choice.

Start Time: 6:30am. Trip usually runs 4-6 hours.

What is included:

  • Fishing pole and tackle (you may bring your own if you like, please call to notify us)

  • Crabbing (ocean conditions permitting - captain will make decision the morning of the trip)

  • Fish filleting - Fish will be filleted and packed into a plastic bag after your trip

  • Crab cooking - Please allow 1 - 1.5 hrs for fillet and crab cooking. If this is too long to wait, you are more than welcome to take your your crab live and/or your fish whole- please just let the deckhand know before he offloads to the fillet dock

What is not included:

  • Fishing and crabbing license/tag – You may pre-purchase your licenses directly from ODFW at MyOdfw.com to avoid the need to come by the office the morning of the trip (we recommend waiting until a day or two before your trip to purchase your license so you can check conditions).

  • Gratuities – If you enjoyed the trip and the service, tipping the deckhand is always appreciated! (15% is customary)

  • Lunch/snacks/drinks – Please feel free to bring a small or medium sized cooler to pack your lunch.

Licenses

Please visit MyOdfw.com to purchase a license to avoid crowds or lines in the morning. You must have a valid license on your person in order to fish (game wardens will accept digital licenses ONLY when presented with the ODFW app, no screenshots or emails). If you plan to present your license with the app, please double check that your license is visible in the "Recreational Portfolio" of the app. If you are unable to present this at check in, you will need to purchase a paper daily license from the office at full price.

Don’t forget to bring:

  • Warm, waterproof clothes and shoes - most of your time will be spent out in the elements

  • A small to med size cooler to bring home your filleted fish (leave in car while fishing)

  • Seasick medication (if needed). Remember to take the night before, and again 1 hour before check in time - according to package instructions, of course!
