Crabbing on the Tillamook Bay

Learn to crab at The Historic US Coast Guard Boathouse in Garibaldi, OR above the water at the end of a 700 ft pier. Join to learn the ins and outs of crabbing while hearing about how the Dungeness Crab fishery shapes Oregon's coastal economy. You will learn about different crabbing techniques as well as how to identify different crabs species and legal size and sex limits. There will be a cleaning and cooking demonstration, where guests will get to enjoy our catch straight out of the bay!
